School Orders

TamilBookShop has partnered with Kumaresh Enterprises to bring you this service. Kumaresh Enterprises has been in the business of supplying Tamil books and materials to libraries in Singapore for the past 22 years. They have been helping schools stock their library shelves and classrooms with their offerings since 1998.

We have books, games and learning resources, suitable for children as young as babies all the way to primary school and we are continually sourcing for new products, as well as creating our own, to meet the needs of your students.

Is there a physical store for teachers to browse the books?

Unfortunately, we do not have a store for you to browse through our books. Every product listing on the site includes any pertinent information that you may need, to make your decision. Most of our book listings also contain images of some of the inner pages, for you to base your selections on. If you have any additional questions regarding our products, please do email us and we'll be happy to provide you with additional details.

Can you make recommendations?

You can use the search filters to narrow down the listings to suit your requirements (age, fiction vs non-fiction, themes and so on). If you would still like to us to make a recommendation, we'll be happy to do so. Just drop us a message and we'll respond as soon as possible.

How do I order?

For MOE schools and kindergartens who want us to E-invoice via Vendors@gov, the procedure will be as follows -

     1. Add the products you want to purchase, to the shopping cart and proceed to checkout once you are done.

     2. At the checkout page, select Purchase Order for payment method and checkout.

     3. A copy of your order will be emailed to you.

     4. If you would like to confirm the order, reply to the email stating that you would like to confirm the order.

     5. Once we have received your confirmation, we will ship out your order.

     6. Once delivery has been confirmed, we will e-invoice the school within 2 days.

For all other educational institutions -

   1. Add the products you want to purchase, to the shopping cart and proceed to checkout once you are done.

   2. At the checkout page, select Paypal or Credit Card for payment method and checkout.

   3. Any applicable discounts will be applied automatically.

   4. After your payment has been processed, we will ship out your order.

What are the delivery charges?

All orders above $50 will be shipped for free. For smaller orders, a flat rate of $4.00 per order applies.

How long does delivery take and can I pick up the books myself?

Once your payment has been confirmed, we will ship the books out within 1-2 business days. Once shipped, you can expect to receive your order in another 1-2 business days.

Unfortunately, we do not currently accept any requests for self-collection of your orders.
